Change or reset my MoodleCloud password

Your MoodleCloud main site administrator password is the same for both your MoodleCloud Site and Portal and you can change it in either one of them.


If you cannot log in to your Site or Portal because of an incorrect/forgotten password, you can reset your password from either your Site login page or Portal login page:  


Option 1 (for the main site administrator):

Go to the MoodleCloud Portal login page, https://moodlecloud.com/app/en/login:

  1. Click on "Forgot your password?",
  2. When prompted, enter your MoodleCloud site name (only the subdomain, without .moodlecloud.com),
  3. An email will be sent to the current site administrator's email address with further instructions. 


Option 2 (for any user on the MoodleCloud site, including site admins):

Go to your MoodleCloud Site login page, [yoursitename].moodlecloud.com:

  1. Click on "Lost password?"
  2. When prompted, enter either your username or your email address (not both),
  3. An email will be sent to you with further instructions.


If you do not receive the email in your inbox within a few minutes, please check your Spam/Junk mail folder.
