Moodle is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Our Commitment
We strive to ensure that our knowledge base website, hosted at https://support.moodle.com and powered by Freshworks, is accessible to all users. Our goal is to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) level AA. We are dedicated to providing an inclusive experience and are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our platform.
Accessibility Features
Our knowledge base is designed to be accessible and allows users to:
- Enlarge text by zooming in their browser.
- Read text and view images with high contrast.
- Change background and text colours, and fonts, using browser plugins.
- Navigate the website using only a keyboard, screen-reader, or speech-recognition software.
We are currently working on adding missing alternate text for relevant images
Accessible Content Guidelines
We adhere to our content writing guidelines to ensure the accessibility of the content within our knowledge base articles. This helps us create clear, understandable, and accessible information for all users.
