We are committed to providing open source, free e-learning tools for educators. As part of our mission we offer all our MoodleCloud plans completely free to registered NFPs and NGOs.
We are committed to providing open source, free e-learning tools for educators. That’s why all our software is free and open source, and this will never change. Hundreds of thousands of institutions have downloaded and are using Moodle on their own servers worldwide.
MoodleCloud is one of our official hosting services that makes it simple for anyone to get a Moodle site without needing to install it on a local server. Since 2015, MoodleCloud has provided a number of simple packages for smaller users, including a Free Trial for 45 days.
If you are part of a registered NFP or NGO and would like to apply for a free forever MoodleCloud site, all you need to do is fill in this form.
The assessment process can take up to 3 weeks and, if accepted, we will give you a full-size MoodleCloud plan for no cost. The costs are subsidised by donations we've received.
Your support is welcome
