When you sign up for a paid plan with MoodleCloud, we send an authorisation charge of $1 to verify that the card you have nominated is valid and the bank will allow payment.
- The payment request is reversed immediately and no funds are deducted from your account, however, the transaction may appear on your bank statement for a few days.
- This verification will also happen when you update your payment method with new credit card details in your MoodleCloud portal.
