MoodleCloud Plans can be downgraded on request, once the site fits within the quotas of the requested plan.
Please contact the MoodleCloud Team to request a plan downgrade, as this process is not possible via your customer portal.
- When a plan downgrade is processed, the pro-rata difference in price will be applied as a credit to your MoodleCloud account for your next subscription related charge.
- It is recommended to request a downgrade at least 2 weeks before your subscription renewal date.
- If your paid subscription period has already ended, a downgrade will take longer to process.
You will need to make sure that your site fits within the quotas of your preferred plan before requesting a downgrade:
- You can suspend users to not count toward your active quota - suspended users cannot access your site, but their user account and data remain on the site.
- MoodleCloud site storage can be managed to fit within storage quotas.
NOTE: While some plan downgrades only affect quotas, others may result in the loss of specific features. Please verify that your requested plan includes the tools you currently use, as any features not included in your new plan will be automatically deactivated upon downgrading (MoodleCloud plans overview).
