Downgrade to a smaller MoodleCloud plan

We understand that business needs may change. We may be able to downgrade your site, but this cannot be done via the MoodleCloud portal.


  • You have to contact the MoodleCloud Team and request a subscription and site downgrade.

  • If a downgrade is possible, it may take a while before it is processed. It is advisable to enquire about a downgrade at least 3 weeks before your subscription renewal. Downgrades can be requested earlier as subscriptions will receive a pro-rata credit.

  • You will need to make sure that your site fits within the quotas of your preferred plan before requesting a downgrade.
