Site not supported error when trying to connect to the Moodle App

Modified on Tue, 23 Aug, 2022 at 12:35 PM

After the 1st of January 2021, sites hosted by certain non-official service providers will require a Moodle App Premium subscription or a Branded Moodle App in order to connect successfully to our app.

You might get the following error when trying to connect your site to the Moodle App:

You are trying to connect to a Moodle site that is not supported by this application anymore. Please contact your site administrator.

  • Service providers affected by this error, were notified in October 2021 so that they could minimise the impact on any students and teachers who would be affected.
  • If you are self-hosting a standard Moodle installation, this does not affect your site and you can continue to use our Moodle App as normal.
*Please, contact your local Moodle Certified Service Provider for more information.
